How to Load Photoshop Action
To load a Photoshop Action, follow these steps:
- Launch Adobe Photoshop on your computer.
- Make sure the Actions panel is visible. If it’s not, go to the top menu and click on “Window” > “Actions” to open it.
- In the Actions panel, click on the small menu icon (three horizontal lines) located at the top right corner of the panel.
- From the drop-down menu, select “Load Actions.” This will open a file browser window.
- Navigate to the location where the Photoshop Action file (.atn) is saved on your computer.
- Select the desired Action file and click on the “Load” button. The Action will then be loaded into the Actions panel.
- You can now access and use the loaded Action. Expand the Action set by clicking on the arrow beside its name. You will see a list of individual actions within the set.
- To apply an Action to an image, select the desired Action from the list. Then, click on the “Play” button at the bottom of the Actions panel. Photoshop will automatically apply the specified edits and effects to the active image.
Remember that Actions are specific to the version of Photoshop you are using. Some Actions may not be compatible with older or newer versions, so make sure to check the compatibility of the Action with your version of Photoshop before loading it.
