How to Load Photoshop Action
To load a Photoshop action, follow these steps:
- Open Adobe Photoshop on your computer.
- Go to the “Window” menu at the top of the Photoshop interface and select “Actions” (or press Alt+F9/Option+F9 on your keyboard).
- The Actions panel will open on the right side of the Photoshop window. If there are already existing actions, you’ll see them listed there.
- Click on the small menu icon (three horizontal lines) at the top-right corner of the Actions panel.
- From the drop-down menu, select “Load Actions.”
- A file explorer window will open. Navigate to the location where your Photoshop action file (.atn) is saved.
- Select the .atn file and click the “Load” button (or double-click the .atn file).
- The action will be loaded into the Actions panel, and you’ll see it listed among the other actions.
Once the action is loaded, you can apply it to your images by selecting the desired action and clicking the “Play” button at the bottom of the Actions panel. Photoshop will then automatically apply the predefined steps and effects contained within the action to the active image or selected layers.
